Due to popular demand Sail Ionian can now provide fully crewed charters on a 75ft Ketch, She has a hull speed of 12 knots, and is ideal for the larger party who wants to be looked after.

She can accommodate up to 8 guests in addition to her Skipper, mate and hostess who have their own accommodation.

She has a total of 600sqm of sail Main Sail, Mizzen Sail, Furling Genoa, and Flyer.

The owners, Rolf and Michiel, will take you sailing through the breathtaking scenery of the Ionian Sea. With the yacht anchored in one of the idyllic bays, which are inaccessible to road traffic, you may want to go for a swim in the clear blue water before or after lunch. It’s up to you whether you have an active sailing week working along with the crew, or have a more laid back week while relaxing with a book or a beer. It’s possible to go water-skiing, snorkeling or even diving. In the evening you can choose either a BBQ on a deserted beach under the stars, or to wine and dine at a restaurant ashore. You may think that chartering a yacht like this is only for the rich and famous, but you will find the rates surprisingly competitive. You can charter the whole yacht for your group of family and friends, or you can book a cabin for two. The minimum booking period is one week and we sail with a maximum of eight guests only! In the Greek climate you will spend most of your time outside, especially while on a yacht therefore it is good to know we have 90 square metres of teak deck available for you.

The cockpit is spacious and fits up to 18 people, whereas we have a maximum of 8 guests, so there is be plenty of room to make yourself comfortable.

The whole cockpit area is covered by a bimini (sun tent) to provide some shade to keep cool. If instead you want to work on your tan, we have sun beds ready for you on the foredeck and centre where you can gaze at the ocean or relax with a book while the yacht is cutting through the water under sail or laying back with a book while almost rocked to sleep.

She has a solid stairway on the side to get in and out the water. After a refreshing swim you will find a shower at the top of the stairs to wash of the salt.

By the way, sleeping on deck is a great experience and our sun beds make a night under the stars very comfortable.

Interior

Once you walk down the stairs from the cockpit to the salon you will understand what we mean by "spacious".

The seating area is nearly six metres wide, so it won’t be crowded. Our salon retains a cosy and comfortable atmosphere due to the wooden interior, round table and comfortable chairs. It is equipped with air-conditioning.

The headroom is more than enough (2,5m) and thanks to large windows you will have a nice ocean view. There is plenty of room here for you to play games together, or read a book in a quiet corner while everyone else is outside.

Meals can be taken in the salon (or outside) or use it to have a night cap before you go to sleep. There is a good audio system with cd’s and mp3 input, you are welcome to bring your favorite music.

Cabins

We have four cabins available for guests each with en suite facilities with toilet and shower. There is plenty of room to store your clothing. Your cabin has a telephone and stereo equipment ready for you along with a vanity table. Each cabin has its own air-conditioning unit which allows you to find a comfortable temperature. During your holiday the cabin offers you maximum privacy to fully relax. Come and have the yacht rock you to sleep!

Galley

It’s common knowledge that sailing goes hand in hand with good food, drinks and enjoying life in general. Our Chef will take care of this important part of your journey through the Ionian Sea. From the small galley amazingly tasty lunches will be prepared with local ingredients. During your stay onboard breakfast and lunch is included in your booking. The yacht is fully provisioned on you arrival aboard, so we can leave straightaway. On the way of course we will get some groceries like fresh bread.
