There are many options for a Greek honeymoon when you charter a yacht and go sailing in Greece.  If you or your brand new spouse is qualified you could charter a bareboat yacht. If not take a skipper (they are used to making themselves scarce) for all or part of your holiday. Of course if you want to sit back and relax and leave it all to us and be sailed around on your skippered yacht.

Sailing in Greece is calming and peaceful, a great relaxing way to spend a Greek honeymoon. You will visit many Islands and moor in harbours or quiet bays.

Whilst Sailing in Greece you will see fantastic scenery, find crystal clear water, and enjoy the local food. What could be better than anchoring in a bay, swimming until dust, then taking your dinghy to the local Taverna to enjoy a meal of Greek salad and fresh fish, accompanied by a jug of local wine. Later there may be Greek dancing, before you retire back to your yacht for a spot of star gazing.

Sail Ionian is a small, friendly, family owned and run yacht charter company based on the island of Lefkas in Greece, ideally located for sailing holidays exploring the Southern and Northern Ionian.

We specialise in Bareboat Yacht Charter, Assisted Sailing and RYA Sailing Courses. For the less experienced sailors, we are pleased to skipper your yacht for part or all of your sailing holiday whilst you gain confidence.

Our aim is to provide the highest standard of sailing holiday possible to all of our clients, both new and returning. This is achieved by maintaining constant high levels of yacht maintenance, cleaning and staff training. All our charter yachts have completed no more than four seasons of charter, with NEW yachts being added each year. All yachts from 36 foot upwards are teak decked and fully equiped. In the unlikely event of you needing support, backup is provided by a large rib which can reach anywhere in the Southern Ionion in a short space of time.
