Nightlife, discos, shops ,water sports, boat trips and boat hire are found in Nidri a 20 minute drive away. Boat hire and sailing tuition is also available nearby. Sivota lies on the southern peninsular on the island of Lefkada and the busy main town of Lefkas is approximately 40 minutes drive.
The island is a yachting paradise and the colourful floatillas can be found moored quayside in Sivota harbour adjacent to the tavernas and bars.
