Neil and Di

Founded the company in 2003 and have been living out here ever since building the company up from 5 yachts to the growing fleet of 27.

Katie

Company Shareholder. RYA Yachtmaster Instructor, RYA Powerboat Instructor. Katie is Principal of the Sail Ionian Sea School. She teaches the full range of RYA Courses in Greece. With 8 years teaching experience in the Ionian, Katie loves sailing and teaching. She is also running Ladies Only RYA courses this year and teaching/skippering on our Caribeann Yachts from December to April in the Grenadines.

Chris

Company Shareholder. Chris runs the engineering department and ensures that all of the yacht are maintained to the highest standard. He spends most his time either on land, in the office or speeding around on 'Rodney' offering 24 hour assistance in the Ionian. Chris is also a qualified Yachtmaster with 7 years teaching and sailing experience in the Ionian.

Linda

Linda organises the Sail Ionian accounts and works full time in our office in Greece. Linda is also an RYA Yachtmaster and has 7 years teaching experience in the area.

Verity

Verity works in the Sail Ionian office taking bookings, up-dating the website, facebook, twitter and you-tube accounts. She is a qualified Dinghy, Keelboat and Powerboat Instructor and Interior Architect.

Matt

Matt also known as 'Boy' is the latest recruit to the Engineering Team. He has worked out in Greece for the past four years before joining the Sail Ionian Team

Emily

Emily is an RYA Yachtmaster and is teaching our assisted sailing and doing skippered charters. Planning to study Business and Psychology after her season with us.

Geoff

Geoff is an RYA Yachtmaster and Cruising Instructor and will be teaching our Competent Crew and Day Skipper Courses. He is very familiar with the area having sailed out here since he was 12.

James

James is an RYA/MCA Yachtmaster, Keelboat and Dinghy Instructor, RYA Powerboat Instructor. James joined Sail Ionian in 2010 and runs our skippered charters, assisted sailing and powerboat tuition. He is an excellent patient instructor and loves teaching families and children. He has also just bought his own yacht in the Ionian which he spends his free time working on with the aim of launching in 2011. This is his second season with Sail Ionian.

Andre

Andre is a Yachtmaster and Cruising Instructor. Andre is a previous client of Sail Ionian and started working with us in April 2010. Andre now teaches our Competent Crew, Day Skipper and ICC tuition as well as the occasional skippered charter. He is again a great instructor with lots of patience will be joining us again for the 2011 season.

Tom

Tom is an RYA Yachtmaster and is a new member to the team this year. He has so far completed two delivery trips from Toulon and Palma and is teaching our assisted sailing and doing skippered charters.

Sofia and Loulie

Sofia and Loulie organise the domestic and interiors of all our yachts to make sure they are fully equipped and spotlessly clean for your arrival.
