Meet Azure: our brand new Bavaria C50

We’re very excited to welcome Azure, a Bavaria C50, to Greece for the 2026 season.

A brand new Bavaria C50, Azure is the newest, largest and most luxurious bareboat yacht in our fleet, and she sets a whole new standard for comfort on the water. Spacious, beautifully equipped and packed with thoughtful upgrades, she is a yacht designed to make every day of your holiday feel easy, relaxed and a little bit special.

Quiet luxury, rethought

One of the biggest differences on Azure is something you will really notice when you are anchored in a peaceful bay at the end of the day.

Azure has a huge 1600Ah lithium battery bank, supported by solar power and advanced power management, which allows her to run a special air conditioning system in every cabin without the need for a generator.

That is a big deal.

Traditionally, air conditioning on yachts has meant generator noise, diesel fumes and the constant background hum that can take away from the magic of being at anchor. On Azure, that all changes. You can enjoy cool, comfortable cabins in complete silence, with no fumes and no generator noise disturbing the peace.

It is a much nicer way to spend time on board, and a much greener one too.

A better way to sail a Bavaria C50 Greece

At Sail Ionian, we are always looking for ways to improve the experience for our guests, and Azure feels like a real step forward.

She offers all the comfort you would expect from a premium yacht, but in a way that feels smarter, quieter and more in tune with the natural beauty of the Ionian. Silent tender rides too

From July, Azure will also be fitted with a new ePropulsion Spirit 2.0 electric outboard.

That means the tender experience is quieter, cleaner and far more enjoyable too. Anyone who has used an older petrol outboard will know they are not exactly elegant; noisy, fiddly and often sounding more like a lawnmower than something you want to use on holiday.

The new electric outboard is a big upgrade, whilst still offering power equivalent to a 5hp 4-stroke. It is quieter, more refined, more reliable and perfectly suited to the kind of relaxed, low-impact cruising that Azure is all about.
