New Marina planned for Palairos

A new 400 berth marina is planned for Palairos. The marina will be sited just to the north of the existing harbour and it is hoped it will bring considerable economic benefit for the area.

Covering a total area of nearly 200 acres the marina will include berths for yachts up to 50m long.

According to the news reports: "Uses in the land zone include administration building, control tower, marine supply stores, supermarket, storage areas, sanitary facilities, offices, restaurants, refreshment rooms, commercial shops, hotel, residences, boat landing area with shed landscaped outdoor facilities, sidewalks, parking lots and green spaces."
