The 2022 Sailing Season is Go!


It's the start of the sailing season! Our first guests of 2022 arrive on Sunday, and the sun is shining on Lefkada! We are very excited to be getting out on the water again!

The quay is abuzz with activity, as our team are busy in the final stages of prepping the yachts. Sails are fluttering in the breeze as they are hoisted and checked, engines are being warmed up and decks are being given a final sheen! The charter fleet is gleaming after weeks of winter maintenance and polishing.

We still have some amazing last minute deals for Easter sailing holidays, with a whopping 30% off for charters starting on or before 8th May. And, with Greek Easter falling on the 24th April, a week after UK Easter, why not come out and experience some amazing Greek hospitality during the holidays. New to the Sail Ionian charter fleet this year are Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 490 'Lucky Styx' and Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 catamaran 'Kevala'. This season you'll also find even more of our yachts are now equipped with solar panels and electric outboards, as part of our continuing Eco Mission.

The weather is already starting to warm up with temperatures already in the late teens, and great sailing winds. All around the Ionian tavernas are opening up as life returns to the islands. The early season is probably the most beautiful time of year here. The hills are covered in wildflowers and the lower temperatures allow you to explore a little further afield. Harbours are quiet, and finding a parking space is a doddle!
