Sail Ionian’s informal flotilla holidays in Greece combine the freedom of an independent bareboat charter with the reassurance of professional support. Any yacht from our charter fleet can join. Sail at your own pace during the day, then meet the flotilla along our South Ionian route, where our experienced team assists with mooring. It is designed to add confidence without taking over your family holiday: there are no compulsory group meals, organised social events or fixed daytime sailing arrangements.
We will get you out sailing the day you arrive and let you bring the boat back at 9am the day of your return flight. Don’t spend the last night of your holiday at base – enjoy all your time in Greece out on the water!
You choose your pace and daily plans, while still having a friendly flotilla support network nearby. If you wish, you can even spend a quiet night or two at anchor away from the group and rejoin the flotilla whenever it suits you. You can contact the flotilla crew at any point to let them know where you're going, or for advice on anchorages and the weather.
Our routes take in the best of the Ionian ensuring you get to enjoy all the most popular harbours without the stress of finding the space to moor yourself. We like to long line in the harbour entrance and swim off the back of the boat, and we don't organise group meals or events, so there's no pressure to join in socially if you don't want to.
Choose from our fleet of modern, high-spec yachts (34–50ft), many with air conditioning, for a comfortable and luxurious experience. Whether you’re a couple seeking peaceful sailing or a family wanting stress-free mooring assistance, our informal flotilla offers the perfect balance of freedom and expertise.
The Informal Flotilla Holidays Greece costs an additional £350 on top of the bareboat charter price.
