Sail Music 2024

Sail Ionian are very excited to announce the annual summer series of Sail Music concerts!

The series of free concerts are to celebrate Sail Ionian’s 21st anniversary.

All Sail Ionian guests, invited VIPs and local residents are welcome.

This year the musicians will be based on our flagship ‘Wyvern’ a Bavaria C57 and will perform free concerts on Lefkada, Kefalonia and Kastos.

The musicians are headed up by Gabriele Jebran Jacoub, a violinist and craftsman. You can read an interview with Gabriele here where he discusses the concerts, his music and his passion for antique instruments.

## Music Sail 2024: A Journey of Music and Discovery with Boris Andrianov

Embark on an unforgettable musical expedition aboard the beautiful Bavaria C57 presented by Sail Ionian, and experience the magic of the Ionian Sea with the renowned cellist, Boris Andrianov.

July 21st:

* Departure: Meet at the Sail Ionian base in Vliho, Lefkada.

* Welcome Aboard: Enjoy a welcome reception and meet the musical expedition team.

* Setting Sail: Raise the sails and set course for our first adventure!

July 22nd:

* Fiscardo, Kefalonia: Sail to the charming village of Fiscardo, known for its picturesque harbour and Venetian architecture.

* Concert in the Venetian lighthouse Yard: Experience a magical evening concert in the courtyard of a historic lighthouse

July 23rd:

* Sami, Kefalonia: Sail to the charming port of Sami, a gateway to the Melissani Cave.

* Sami Summer Festival: Perform in the vibrant atmosphere of the Sami Summer Festival.

July 24th:

* Ithaca: Sail to the mythical island of Ithaca, the legendary home of Odysseus.

* Exploring the Island: Discover the beauty of the island’s hidden coves and enjoy free time to explore.

July 25th:

* Kastos & Kalamos: Sail to the tranquil islands of Kastos and Kalamos.

* Concert on an Abandoned Beach: Enjoy a unique concert experience on a secluded beach, followed by a barbecue party with guitar and voice music.

July 26th:

* Meganisi Island: Sail to the scenic island of Meganisi.

* Exploring Scorpios and Maduri: Take a boat trip to the iconic island of Scorpios, once owned by Aristotle Onassis, and the nearby islet of Maduri.

July 27th:

* Return to Lefkada: Set sail back to the Sail Ionian base in Vliho, Lefkada.

* Gala Concert: Join us for a grand finale concert in the quay of Sail Ionian, celebrating the journey with a breathtaking performance.

July 28th:

* Farewell: Say goodbye to the crew and the Music Sail 2024 adventure.
